  • FAA Approval:
    • Both the Standard and Extended Batteries are FAA-approved for your travel needs!
  • Operating Altitude:
    • The Rove 4™ is designed to operate effectively up to 10,000 feet
    • Operating the Rove 4™ above 10,000 feet may lead to reduced oxygen flow rate and purity, potentially affecting the effectiveness of your oxygen therapy. 
  • International Voltage:
    • The Inogen® Rove 4™ is compatible with international voltages, but you’ll need to use a plug adapter to connect it to different types of outlets.
  • Noise level:
    • 39 dBA @ flow setting 2, which is equivalent to a quiet library
  • Humidification: No, the Inogen® Rove 4™ portable oxygen concentrator is not compatible with a humidifier.
  • Cannula/tubing: The kit does not include a cannula or tubing, but you can purchase both at an extra charge.
  • Heat: The Inogen® Rove 4™ is compact enough to rest comfortably on your lap during everyday activities likewatching a movie or riding in a car. Like all oxygen concentrators, it produces some heat during use, but when properly maintained and operated within its recommended temperature range, it should remain safe and comfortable to handle.

Maintenance & Reliability
  • Filter cleaning/replacement:
    • Cleaning: The particle filters on the Rove 4™ should be washed and dried weekly to ensure proper airflow.
    • Replacement: The filter should be replaced when it becomes bent out of shape or damaged. Or, about every 6 months.
  • Device lifespan:
    • The Inogen® Rove 4™ has an expected lifespan of 8 years.
