Where do I pickup my rental?

Scooters can be conveniently picked up at the event. See the event map for more help.

What is the difference between the standard scooter and the HD Scooter?

HD Scooters allow for a 400-lb weight capacity, while Standard Scooter rentals allow for a 300-lb weight capacity. The HD scooter allows for a longer charge of up to 12-16 hours, while standard scooters tend to be more around that 9-hour charge time. Both scooters are great options for the event.

Do you have scooters for someone over 300+ lbs?

Yes, we recommend our HD scooter for riders up to 400 lbs.

What happens if I don’t return my rental after I am done renting it?

Please politely return your rental to where it was picked up from. If you fail to return your rental, we will consider it stolen property and have the right to take legal action. All rentals are due for return by when the event is over.

Who do I contact if I have questions about my rental?

Please contact Copper Star Home Medical, Tempe store, by calling or texting (602) 900-5246. We are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you want to text us, please click on the text icon at the bottom of this screen and choose “Tempe.”

What hours are rentals available?

All rentals must be booked before the event. There will be no available rentals at the event. Please prebook your rentals accordingly.

May I get a refund if I can not attend the event?

You may contact our Tempe store via call or text to receive a refund up to 7 days before the event. (602) 900-5246 Within 7 days of the event, all bookings are final, and no refunds will be issued. You must confirm your cancellation with a Live Person. Otherwise, your booking has not been canceled.

Will same day rentals be available in person at the event center?

We do not offer same day rentals for this event. Please pre-book your rentals.

What confirmation do I need to bring the day of the event to pick up?

For confirmation, we will require a valid ID card matching the name on the booking. Upon checkout, use the rider’s name. This will be presented to at the tent where you will pick up your rental.

Having to care for a loved one is a difficult task but there is help at places where you least expect it - at least that is how it was for me. I called Copper Star Home Medical in Surprise looking to rent a wheel chair for my wife who just came out of a serious foot surgery. I spoke to Candace, the store manager, and she assured me that if I came into the store, she would be able to help me find the best chair would be for my wife. When I got to the store, I was greeted by Cory, a field manager for Copper Star, and Candace, the store manager, and we looked at several options that would help make my wife is comfortable as possible during her recovery. By the time I left the store, I found a lift chair, a portable commode, and of course, a wheelchair. They were even able to get us the lift chair the next day!! In my business, Customer Service is the ultimate expression for creating the best experience for the people who walk through your door and the staff at Copper Star Home Medical was no exception. Their guidance and expertise helped me through this difficult time and I highly recommend them!
